Pet Food Pantry
Our goal is to provide temporary pet food assistance to families struggling in this economy to keep their pets. Our pets are vital family members and no one should have to face surrendering their pet due to lack of food. The Pet Pantry helps keep many, many animals away from being sent to rescues or abandoned.
We distribute food to the community on the 1st and 3rd Saturday’s of every month from 9-11 AM at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Heartworm Treatment Assistance
All dogs deserve a chance at a happy and healthy ever after. We work directly with the Douglas County Animal Shelter and the local vets to help you cover part of the heartworm treatment cost of dogs adopted from the shelter.
When you adopt a heartworm positive pup, we will provide assistance to help with the treatment costs by sending it directly to the vet. Don’t pass over a wonderful companion because of heartworms. Don’t pass over an amazing companion simply because it is heartworm positive.
